There is a reason why you are still alive today. Maybe you tried to take your life because you feel like there is no purpose in you still being here because you are a burden to those around you. I can tell you that there is a reason why you are still alive today. We may not know right now what that reason is, but there is a reason.
If you were not meant to still be here, God would have taken you home by now. He would have brought you to Him to live in Heaven. But He hasn’t so you know that that tells me? That tells me that there is a reason for you. There is a purpose for you. It may be hard because we don’t know what that purpose is right now.
I know how tough it is. I know how tough it is to want nothing more than to not be here anymore. I know what its like to think you would be better off dead and that you are a burden to those around you. I know what its like to literally pray to no longer be living because it feels like it is too much.
God hears you. He sees you struggling and it is breaking His heart. He’s saying “Child please look up. Please look up and see me. With me you have a reason. You have a purpose. I need you to keep going. Just a little while longer. Your life up here is going to be amazing but it’s not ready yet. Your place is under renovation to make it perfect for when you get here. Please keep going. I’ll bring you home when it’s time.”
God is yearning to be with you but He knows that you are meant to live our your purpose first. You need to do what you were put on this earth for. It’s hard right now and that is okay. Its okay that life is hard but you need to look up to God. Look up and see Him smiling at you because you are doing a good job here.
There is a reason why you are still here today. The reason may not be prominent right now and thats okay. There is a reason for you to be alive. You’ve got this. You can get through. Lean into your heavenly father. He will get you through.
