My Productive Day



I have been a little productive today. I’ve done a few things today that I would call productive. This is a list of them.


  1. Put normal clothes on

  2. Made bed

  3. Spent time with God

  4. Laundry

  5. Clean desk

  6. Practice Human by Christina Perri on Ukulele

  7. Had therapy

  8. Played games to stay connected to others

  9. Took Holly out

  10. Made and ate food

  11. Watched The Mighty’s live stream with the host of the podcast called Not Crazy

  12. Listen to Not Crazy podcast about coronavirus and keeping it together when struggling with mental health

You see these things may not be productive to you but to me they have been very productive. Everyone views productivity different which means things that I see as productive may not be to you and that’s okay. During this time productivity is going to look different and that’s okay. Productive may look like putting real clothes on and stepping outside for a breath of fresh air. Or if you still have work right now, it could look like trying to keep your normal routine and doing work during usual work hours.


Its important to establish a routine. And that is what I am working on. I am working on waking up at a reasonable time and doing things that keep me busy so when I get the screen report on my phone and iPad at the end of the week it doesn’t say there’s been a 100% increase in time. I’m sure some of you are feeling that right there.


Life is hard right now and if you are looking for something to say that you don’t have to be the most productive well then this is your sign. There is a healthy balance right now of being productive and it actually be productive and being productive because the world tells you you need to be and it’s actually very unproductive for your health. Only you know this healthy balance.


I hope you can find that healthy balance in your life.
