Self Care Ideas


Self care is something that is extremely Important. It is one of those things that can help you keep going when the going gets tough. Self care is super important to keep you healthy.


Here are a few of my favorite ideas/self care things to do:


Spending time with God.

-this is super helpful. It fills me up and gives me a peace. He loves us to talk to Him or spend time in His word.


2. Make something special to eat or drink.

- this can be something like hot chocolate with whipped cream and sprinkles or rolo croissants.


3. Spend time with someone you love.

-it is super nice to spend time with someone you love. Whether it is just catching up or asking for advice.


4. Getting nails done.

-this is one of those things that I love to do because it makes me happy. Little things that give you joy and happiness is something good to do.


5. Read a book

- Reading is such a good thing for you. Not only is it good to keep your skill up but its good for your mind. It can give your mind a break of what’s going on in your life and enter a new world.


6. Watch your favorite movie

-Watching your favorite movie is awesome because it gets you back into the world of someone else. It helps to get your mind off of what is stressing you out.


7. Buy a bouquet of flowers

-I love doing this because it is something that can make you smile. I love seeing the bright pop of color in my room.


8. Take a shower/bath

-This may seem really silly but when you are struggling, sometimes this is really hard to do. This is great because it gets you freshened up and can help relax you.


9. Spend time with pets

-This is something that is great to do because they love you so much. You are pretty much their whole world. They love you and want you to be happy.


10. Listen to your favorite music

-Music is something that is very therapeutic. It can make your mood go any way. Good, bad, and great.


Doing little things daily that are self care is super important. It can help you keep going when the going gets tough. It helps you take care of yourself even when you don’t want too. I hope this can help! Let me know your favorite self care things to do in the comments!
